Day-One Relief

The free family closet

Our facility is stocked with brand-new and gently used beds, car seats, weather-appropriate clothing, and school supplies. Grandparents and foster parents can pull in, pick what is needed, and leave without forms or fees.

Stock is replenished entirely through community donations and church drives across Ohio counties. We keep essentials sized from newborn to teen ready for immediate pickup.

Caregiver Break

Free monthly respite childcare nights

Every second Friday, vetted community volunteers host a supervised evening of games and pizza for children in care, giving kinship and foster caregivers an uninterrupted evening to rest or run errands.

Community Circles

Caregiver peer support groups

Raising relative children brings unique questions about family dynamics, school systems, and daily stress. Our peer circles bring together grandparents and foster parents over coffee in local church halls to share advice, resources, and understanding.

Adult Mentors

State Benefits Help

Welcome Bags

Reliable adult volunteers spending consistent, dependable time with youth in care through fishing trips, homework help, and weekend outings.

Direct, plain-language guidance through state kinship care paperwork, guardianship filings, and school registration requirements.

Prepared overnight packs containing pajamas, a toothbrush, a book, and a stuffed toy for children arriving with only the clothes they wore.
